Iran celebrates the peaceful nature of their atomic program by broadcasting a Qiam missile launch on TV to coincide with the startup of the Bushehr plant :-)

Thank you RT for this summary for those of us who lack the basic information about the history of the Iranian nuclear energy development. For me few things standout. First, Russia’s engineering ingenuity is on display-, Russia’s engineers were able use the German technology that was already there rather than throwing it away- Second, the role of Siemens in this project is troubling for this company left this project- no doubt because of U.S pressure. But today, Siemens is one of the key players in the modernizing Russia’s infrastructure. My primary thought is how much Russia can trust a company that lacks the independence to make deals with foreign governments? Finally, Russia has proven itself to be both independent and respectful of international law. Today Russia commands the respect of the rest of the world-of course, excluding, the corporate imperialists.

If it was so peaceful, then why would Iran show off a purely offensive weapon the same week.

A bombing will only be able to happen, reports the Agence France-Presse, coming from Israel within the three days before the Iran Bushehr plant becomes functional, says U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton. Iran would end up with a lot of radiation and harm if Israel waited until nuclear fuel was loaded into the plant’s core. I found this here: John Bolton says Israel has three days to bomb Bushehr

Because they know the truth or reality has nothing to do with US government thinking and that the best way to prevent an attack is to appear able to defeat an attack.

Iran is a sovereign country and has the right to test its missiles. Do you complain when Russia tests the Bulava missile?
