Was there ever any doubt that from the beginning foreign intelligence has been running operations in Russia and Central Asia? Of course they do there is tons of information connecting terrorism in Russian to foreign intelligence they were training Chechens in Turkey and Bosnia since 92 up until 2001 and beyond. Interview Sidel Edmonds or Paul Murphy.

The involvement of British and German secret services in sponsoring terrorism in the Caucasus area, and elsewhere in Russia, was very strong prior to WWI. Today it is Britain (again) and USA that pursue the same strategy in Caucasus. It is very well known that a number of Chechen rebels are bunching up in London where they enjoy hospitality and plan their future actions in peace.

Last time the western security services stuck their noses into russian affairs by associating with terrorists, it came back to bite them pretty hard. They should remember Osama and the 9/11 attack and remember who backed, trained and financed him in the first place.

There has been tons of information connection "terrorism" wih foreign intelligence. Better name would be state -sponsored terrorism. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Checniya, Dagestan, Ingushetia, Uzbekistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Uighur province, Darfur, Tibet, and on it goes. It is still the cheapest way to mine the troubled waters in any part of the world. One can always recruit the young, poor and impressionable in the name of whatever goals, and for very little cash. For as long as they buy into the ideology, the miracles start happening. Suddenly, passports, visas, accommodations, arms, fancy communications gadgets, etc. start rolling in. The problem is not just getting the intelligence, but also prosecution. Most of the pions have no idea who is pulling the strings behind the scenes, or where the money is coming from.

This is not a big secret, I hope Russia does something about it before the situation is out of control.

@ Andy, a good weapon against this sort of skull-duggery is sunlight. These plotters like working in the dark and living under rocks. The more we flip rocks over, the more embarrassed they will be. As for the Russian government, they cannot very well declare war on the backers of the terrorists. They can, however, work at improving the living conditions of the people in the North Caucasus. Pres Medvedev said unemployment was a critical problem in the region and he called for more government effort there.

@Vladimir Mainly Turkey that is training and financing these people as well as Jordan, Britain, US, Saudi Arabia, Iran, in fact most countries it is the exact same network established to destroy the Serbs during the 90’s. Also researchers, human rights activists, NGO's, etc are on the payroll of the CIA through NED, Freedom House and other CIA fronts, Soros HRW and heavy financing of Amnesty International, The “foreign minister” of the exiled regime is on the payroll of the CIA as a NED scholar with full benefits on the behest of lobbying by Brezinski. http://www.rense.com/general80/obb.htm Info on western backed terrorism. http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/7/15/551916/-Sibel-Edmonds-Case:-The-Central-Asia-Islamization-Cocktail:-Mosques,-Madrassas,-HeroinTerrorism http://letsibeledmondsspeak.blogspot.com/2008/07/court-documents-shed-light-on-cia.html US and British friends fighting US forces in Iraq. http://thomasjoscelyn.blogspot.com/2006/07/demise-of-terror-master-role-of-his.html http://www.serbianna.com/blogs/newspost/?p=1316 @Sam Turkey trained some of the 9/11 hijackers and guess where there were originally intended to go the same place as Atta. http://www.counterpunch.org/lindorff01072008.html http://rawstory.com/08/news/2009/07/31/whistleblower-bin-laden-was-us-proxy-until-911/

I don't worry for Russia at all - it will make them stronger as any proxy or open war wage against them before! Looking in past history - states with wrong doing will find themselves in Russia's black book, without Russia public comment.. What I know from history - Russia never forget and never forgive such attacks... World map with many states smash from "great empires", kingdoms, etc. is a silence witness of that.. Take care Russia enemy - hole what you try to dig will be yours own one in future....

The world has changed, and with it, the utilization of free-lance terrorism for political purposes. Let us take a look at the nineties. Then, US and allies, flush with the Cold War victory, rushed in to shake-up the world according to its wishes. The new centurions came on the world stage. The Clinton era is significant in the development of the new model of "humanitarian intervention", a model based on the Afghan "success" in undermining Soviet Union. But the "humanitarian intervention" saught to legitimize the use of power outside the constraints of international law, particularly multilateral legal obligations, such as UN. That era created the foundation for the fissure now evident in the international relations. Following on the heels of the Carter Doctrine (Zbignew Brzezinski, really), Clinton sought to finesse the use of raw power, and justify trashing of internationa law. Therefore, the old Vatican concept of "just war" was brought out of the mothballs, to explain why US and its allies have the right to invade other countries. The pillar of this strategy was ethnically-based conflict that either exists, or can be manufactured as needed. While in the nineties, Iran was scared of the power of US, and then President Rafsanjani --- followed by Khatami --- participated in clandestine fashion in the development of world-wide "islamic" terrorism. Bosnia and Chechnya were such examples. Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Jordan --- all participated. That was then, but the times have changed. Iran has since 2005 rid itself of intelligence links to British and US network for terrorist breeding facilities. That was strike one against Ahmedinejad. Turkey, with the "islamic", in reality, nationalistic government, distanced itself from the project, and connected to the region, including Russia. Now, the key "suppliers" are Saudi Arabia with money, and Pakistan with the thousands of poor children groomed for international mischief.

We all know who is manipulating most terrorists. The religious fanatics are not the desease's origine but one of its consequence. This will not stop unless those who are the target react and take retaliatory measures; after having told the whole World what is going on. The easiest way is to hit the culprits in the pocket-book. For instance if a country has the proof of a CIA's implication, this state has the right to intent a justice' settlement and to suggest the boycott of the offender. If this was done the number of mercenaries will quickly decrease. The morale's values, under Western leadership have so declined than now, killing humans is becoming a normal trade. Does a syndicat for terrorists and mercenaries, already exist in Washington or London ? Sorry Future Generations !!! Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin

Things must be getting down and dirty in the N. Caucasus. Can Russia manage the situation there without widening the conflict? Too many people, too little peace.

there can be NO Doubt that western imperialists along with their islamic allied gangs are stocking the situation in the north Caucasus. what they don't realize that instead of putting Russia in the untenable situation, will lead into their final collapse. just look at how the the head devil britain went down the tubes with it's empire. america and it's in bread cancer is next. Russia is a very intelligent culture, she knows as always how to turn the tables against the imperialist conspirators and make them kneel in front of Her. She and her allies will come out of this much stronger if one can be imagine it.
