Dear Chavez President of Vnezuela, special advise to you, DO NOT DEAL WITH RUSSIA. Becareful if you sign any agreement with Russia, they will do same thing they did to Iran. Russia is not that country you can depend on. Please be careful.

Dear Pedro, I'm a Russian and I'm indeed deeply ashamed that my country cowed to what apparently was U.S. pressure, and abandoned the S-300 contract. After all, it appeared as if there was enough leeway in the legal language of the UN sanction imposed upon Iran to allow shipment of this defensive weapon, especially under a contract dated years before the sanction. It's not so much about the defensive potential that we denied to the Iranian people, so much as it was about the symbolic act of surrendering to the U.S. pressure. Note, that of course Russia still behaves as a truly independent country, but that singular act indeed contrasts with that independency.

The two previous comments are correct. It is obvious that the Russian leadership will have to clearly explain his strategy concerning the Russia-USA confused relations. So far, compromises have been made by Russia but what have the USA done in return ? It seems to me that Mr Medvedev is more interested in business deals than in the well being of his people...Sorry Future Generations...Your friend: Jean-Claude Meslin

I am beginning to think that Russia is part of the New World Order. Russia sold out Iran on the S-300 contracts and now people are wondering if Russia will sell-out Venezuela. You see how that works Russia? Russian integrity is now blemished.
