Medvedev emphasizes vision of Chechnya’s future with personal visit

Dmitry Medvedev discussed social-economic development and national security and enjoyed the beauty of the biggest mosque in Russia and Europe during his first working visit to the republic of Chechnya.
Kadyrov is a strong leader, yet in the West they portray him as some kind of monster. I hope one day he will be president of Russia










I hope and pray everyone can get along in the Caucasus region of Russia. Grozny looks good, a good recovery. I believe the moderate and balanced policies of Vladimir Putin and President Medvedev have helped Russia, considering how big it is. Second, I have always said Western civilisation started in the Caucasus, not the middle east region!
