Russian lawmakers might face harsh punishment for not attending parliamentary sessions without a good reason. The issue came to surface following a scandalous video report shown by a Russian TV channel.
oh this is how "sovereign democracy" looks like :)
The BBC have reported on the story as well, calling the Duma a "Rubber-stamp" parliament. I'm not surprised.










Of course deputies aren't present. They know very well that it is not them who make the decisions but Putin and his administration. So why bother anymore to keep up the show? What did you expect?
