“G8 provided weak statements on world financial crisis”

The statements issued by the G8 during its recent summit will only lead to a further crippling of the global economy, says independent blogger Nicolle Kardell from Washington, D.C.
Nicolle Kardell - THANK YOU for a good analysis and straightforward common sense about this spectacle - where these "leaders" have delicious food and lots of it while discussing hunger and starvation across the World. I am disappointed in Medvedev. I had such high hopes of him.

Ok, didn't we do well, round of applause for us, where shall we meet next time? this seems to be working, we hold these summits, and it takes everyones minds of the unemployment and negative growth. They just wait for the next one, to see if we do something, but we don't and they wait again. Shall we hold them more often, less often, or leave it the same, rather like we are doing with the economies. But there is danger here, if we look like we are not doing anything, and things improve, then people will know we are doing nothing, and they might realise they don't need us. Quick we need another summit, what shall we call it, a nuclear summit, or my wife hasn't been there summit, or there is good shopping there summit, does it matter, let's just call it some-it. After all its not as if we are going to do any work there!
