I am very glad Gazprom beat the european Russian Enemies, securing a deal on gas supplies from Azerbaijan.According to information I was reading,it appeared that the europeans , with the help of their Master america, were to be the ones having this Nation gas for themselves, and now this news.It must have been heart breaking for these Imperialists, but they will never end trying, simple because they don,t want pay for Russian Gas,they rather pay someone else to weaken Russia, with the hope it will collapse, and then they have it for free. The Russians know this, and they go on surviving,to the dismay of the enemy Alliance. As it appears now they have to wait much longer and in the mean time they must pay for it.These are bad news for Obama the Main leader of this Alliance he to want the american companies to go to Russia and Plunder all their Resources. For now he have to wait. Congratulations this agreement was worse than a slap across the face of the Profiteers best Regards Manuel

This deal is very baffling for me, I thought Azerbaijan was extremely pro-America and anti-Russia? So why would they sign the deal with their enemy? Russia is after all the one country that is clearly supporting Armenia's Karabakh claims. It makes no sense from an Azeri perspective...

Russia never really supported a full secession of Nagorno Karabakh from Azerbaigan ! Neither Armenia did, but it claimed only a sort of autonomy of the region within the Azerbaigan. Besides, the Karabakh enclave is completely embedded in the territories populated by Azers and the secession would be a shot in the emptiness. Azeri people, Armenians and Russians have been living together for centuries, if not for thousands of years, and they all know each other all too well. They are all heavily interconnected. Russia knows well what Azers need and they gave that to them! I strongly hope this deal will turn on good for Azeri people and Azerbaigan state on a long term scale. I believe the dispute with Armenia will be settled down in a manner reflecting good will and mutual understanding, so that the whole region will enter in a lasting prosperous period. Russia could also assist in achieving good and stable relations between the two. A very good news indeed, and a marvelous move of the Azeri Government!
