EU is such an hypocritical organisation. Last week they were asking their members that are still refusing to recognise kosovo to do so. This week they are in Georgia saying they don't recognise the borders between South Ossetia and Abkhazia with Georgians.

Vive le Quebec Libre! Specially now that Harper recognized granted them fake Nationhood, "there is Quebec Nation, as long as you remain in Canada" he proclaimed hoping to improve on his party's electoral gains. Translated in English = "As long as you are ruled by the British Crown".

Majority populace of South Ossetia and Abkhazia were Georgians, who were forced out by Russian bombardments. Certainly if you kill and force out the majority of Georgians from those territories, from their homes and land, then it is easier to declare independence. How about me and you living together and I force you out from our shared home/land and declare independence, does that sound democratic to you? Hypocritical, isn't?

Study what??? Saakashvili's tie sucking techniques??? What they should study is Sakashvili's inability to comprehend the reality that his attack on S. Ossetia had dire consequences to the nation of Georgia.

@Bob. Even if you claim majority of South Ossetians and Abkhazia were Georgians before they were pushed out,it is still hypocrisy. May I remind you that Kosovo is where the Serbian kingdom was started. Please tell me who are the majority in North Ossetia. Is it Russian? Nope its Ossetian, Just as it is in South Ossetia which ended up in Georgia when Ossetia was split between Russia and Georgia by good old Stalin. A similar story can be told of the abkhazians.Abkhazians and Ossetians are culturally distinct from the Georgians and they live in Ossetia and Abkhazia respectively. How can someone say Georgians were the majority there.even so does that now mean that they own the countries?same can be said for Kosovo. To me its like saying that east London now belongs to Pakistan and Bangladesh.

I think the concept of the EU is a good idea. But it's being poorly served by its representatives, who continue to try and give credibility to the Butcher of Tblisi, who clearly has delusions of being the next Stalin, given his actions so far. Poor judgement on the EU's part, imho.
