Georgian opposition seeks UN control over elections

About 20 political parties in Georgia have signed an address to the UN Secretary General to hold the forthcoming elections in the country under UN aegis.

Georgia’s Labor Party on Monday has suggested that the country’s presidential and parliamentary elections be held under the guidance of the UN.

The UN is at least dominated, if not controlled, by the US and its lackys. The UN were supposed to stop corruption in the Afghan elections - but it didn't stop the US and UK having thier puppet reinstalled. It would be better than nothing I suppose.
