Georgia waves goodbye to the CIS

Georgia has finalized plans to withdraw from the Commonwealth of Independent States, a regional alliance of former Soviet republics.
Gruzian President is such a "visionary". Decoupling his country from their neighbours and forcing the nation to embrace the Big Brother. "Only two things are limitless: The Universe and human stupidity. And I'm not sure about the Universe." - Albert Einstein. Good bye CIS. Hello USA (United Servants of America).
The ignorance of the elites that where propped up in the ex Soviet republics like Georgia as well their metaphysical belief in the ability of the USA to project power in every corner of the world is such that it can be proclaimed to constitute their new religion! Well I think that every serious commentator should wish the Georgian people “good night and good luck”, in the adventure that their leadership continues to put them trough. Maybe one day the common sense of geography, economic realities and culture might bring the Georgian elites to their senses but this presuppose that they will be able to reconnect with the rational though that the European enlightenment gave birth in the 18th century, and which has never really influence the USA. A difficult task I suppose.

It is too bad that Georgia is leaving the CIS. Maybe they will change their minds in the future and come back, if the CIS is willing to talk to them again. As for Saakashvili, the best thing I can say is: "Buh-bye! Don't let the door hit you on your way out!" Bleah.
