18.10.2012 14:03

People’s religious feelings must be respected, but Russia is a secular state, President Vladimir Putin stated in a comment on a recent controversy over a Russian school banning Muslim girls from attending classes while wearing a hijab.

Russia, Poland and lately France experienced the barberic cohorts of islam, it's barberic, cruel, demending the world domination in it's hidden agendas.

You do not want to resort to uniforms because this destroys diversity. Uniforms are for military schools, not public schools. Freedom doesn't exist when everyone is forced to look the same.

Priva te schools, or homeschooling would be better options. However, I do not know what the homeschooling laws are in Russia. Do they allow it or not? If it is allowed, how much government intrusion is there? RT, it would be great if you could write about this subject sometime.

[quote name='Millen' time='20.10.2012 18:08']I am an admirer of Putin. But here I disagree with him. His decision polarizes the country. Let the muslims wear what they want. That is not extremism. To stop them, is undemocratic. Just like what the French are doing. Hijab is not what brings extremism. It is ignorance and lack of proper education and it comes in all forms and religions and across the board.Don't make it a forbidden fruit! [/qu ote]

Their dress used to be beautiful. No longer. It is not just the hijab, it is the full dress that hide bombs. A dress now associated with fear, death & destruction.

@ Israeli Brainwashing WRONG...Another Muslim hypocrite to laugh at...

Could not include your full post, but yes Laugh At, you reflect my sentiments exactly. Look at the Ballyhoo Muslims are kicking up all over the globe - UK, USA, Australia etc. Why do they come & live in the countries of the infidels? All to erode our way of life & beliefs, while they kill, murder & rape, all in the name of their Prophet, who most probably is turning in his grave at the horrific deeds they are perpetrating in his name.

sorry for russia, i thought they were smarter than europians!

It is not a matter of being smart or not, it is a matter of keeping Russia's schools in accordance with Russia's way of life. Imagine Christians being as demanding as Muslims in a Muslim country. You'd be lucky to be kicked out immediately as more likely you'd find yourself in jail if you dared kick up even a minor fuss. No Putin is right. When foreigners (mainly Muslims) desire to live in Christian countries they try to steal their host countries identity with their demands. This is absolute BS!

a soviet version of secularism! secularism isnt banning all religious symbols ,itsallowing them all!

Suicide bombers too? Muslims created this horrific phenomenon associated with Muslim garb. When Russia's schools, as do schools in other Christian countries, advocate a uniform to promote equality, the minority Muslim girls should follow suit or failing this, attend a school for Muslim girls. Christians obey the laws, values & dress codes of strict Muslim countries so Muslims should obey Christian laws, values & dress codes too.
