To mark the 60th NATO Anniversary Summit Noam Chomsky talked to Robert Harneis for RT on Kosovo, Afghanistan, as well as NATO – why it exists and its future. Professor Chomsky is a leading critic of NATO and US policy.

A NATO plan was used by the dictator for establishing the dictatorship in Greece. For us it is not a defence Allience, because in case of war with Turky, or Albania, or Skopia, or Bulgaria can not intevene. In fact when Turks invaded Cyprus prevented our deployment for the defence of the island. ============= The phenomenon of Chomsky is a communication trick, that is swallowed even by the Russians. It helps the warld dominance by the US and SIonist. For instance when a political party members says something that will make hate it, then another party member will say some thing else tha suits me. Chomsky is not alone on this, there are many other analysts, especially those who support US-Russia security cooperation, who claim that NATO has been the determinal factor in deteriorating of US-Russia security cooperation. It serves no other purpose other than to help hawks in US exercise hegemony, when in fact United States can no longer sustain this position due to its tarnished world image and growing influence from other powers. It is time, as Putin has said, that United States accepts multilateralism, diversity, and global cooperation.
