It was an election that was snatched from the Iranian people – or at least that's the impression being given by Western media outlets. But are they telling the full story?

You do get some pure comedy on this site, I must admit the funniest phrase in support of democracy I think I have ever read is this one "Yes he received less votes but that is not how our election process works" and then in context I suppose someone having more votes in Iran and winning an election, because that's how their election process works, is somehow anti democratic - Sorry Adam, your heart is in the right place, and you are a bright guy, but this is nonsense. You are, however right, that there are many different parts to the American people. You come across as having, what I would call the basis of good American values, coloured with some institutional hand me downs. The problem is that many Americans, have not quite worked out that institutional USA today, doesn't actually support the values that you espouse, the ones that came from your founding fathers and that have been developed over time, as the American spirit. Just really sit back and think whether, the USA today, really lives up to the ideals and values you have within yourself, both towards Americans at home and also to the rest of the world at large. I will say no more - take care!

@ Adam... The reason we have not mentioned the rural area factor is because it's common knowledge. Because it is exactly what also happened in Moldova, the communists have many supporters in the rural areas and that's why they keep winning elections. And no thanks, the way things work in America is crazy, we want the person with the most number of votes to be the winner.

Forteen year old was raped and her family was killed in front of her and she was killed in Iraq by US Army and who droped N-Bomb in Japan, telling other people you can not have it and who helped Pakistan to obtain N-Bomb and lied to US congress, these people are greedy, shame less and super idiots. American seems to think that World is only 250 years old.

So even if the western media is covering it in this manner, is this not what the Iranian people want? I personally believe along with many people that President Obama gave a very weak reaction to the fraud in last year's election. Most Americans desired a speech from Obama much like the speech given by Reagan saying "tear down this wall, Gorbachov!". I feel like it is in the best interest of the world for the western media, however biased in most situations, plays up unrest like this so as to promote true democracy and freedom, and let the will of people truly be discovered.
