So a teacher predicted Chavez's ascensmion to power. A rather cliché prediction. What else did the teacher do to him, touch his forehead to give such knowledge :) Still he has done good for South America indeed. USA invasion of Iraq has no justification. Hopefully he will allow for more privatization of resources in Venezuela.

Great interview - which you would never get here in the US, except of course on Democracy Now. Americans on the whole tend to shy away from the truth, lest they catch sight of themselves in its mirror. They instinctively know they wouldn't like what they would see. Amnesia/ignorance is their remedy. Ignorance makes them strong and amnesia makes them calm.

Just read where our "leaders" have given themselves a3k COLA while denying the retired same, further, they've decided, (in their wisdom(?) ), to double the poverty-locked retired's mandatory medicare payment by 2014. Still the sheeple are silent, obedient, cowardly, compliant, disgusting. Perhaps mr. Lafontaine hit it on the head.....through ignorance they wish to stay blissful, fearing they might see the faces of cowards when they look into that mirror.

Live VERy long and help your people Mr. Chavez. In REAL history, become identified with the likes of Castro, Guevara, Putin and all others that see the U.S. of Israel for the filth hegemony and oppression it TRULY is!
