A major international conference tackling global challenges is under way in central Russia. Ahead of taking part in the conference, New York University professor Craig Calhoun shared his ideas with RT.
I hate the term democracy. Democracy is mob rule or mobocracy. 51% of people trashing the rights of the 49%. America was not established as a democracy, but a republic. Of course, with false flag terror operations,domestic surveillance, and the like, we are sliding into a soft fascism. Zak, I hope you don't make the mistake of thinking that all of us support what our govt is going here -any more than intelligent Americans thought all Soviets wanted to kill us. dobrey dehn!
RE:AntoglobalJoel I never blame and I never will blame Usa citizens! I will always blame Usa government (and any other) for the wrong policy.I know that majority of Usa citizens do not suport governmet policy-I know they to, as the rest of the world like to live in peace..Usa have two party sistem-one coin with to indentical faces! It happend verry often that both of them brock promises given - after come to power.I hope that one day people honest like you will come in power and change Usa policy-so we can live in peace!
Democracy is still utopia in today world-probably one day we will live in sistem wich we can call a democratic one!West never was a democracy...To export domestic "democracy"and our way of life by force, upon some other states are fundametaly wrong.West use "democracy" as a fake excuse to robb other states of their liberty,lifes and goods....Judgeing by past history and commited crimes by west(today to) west is last place on planet eart to call themself democracy! If Usa is democracy-they will never make 72 intervention outside of they borders and kil 23-27 million innorcent victims around the globe with fake excuses from 1945 till today! They also keep killing today(millions)in Iraq and Afganistan on fake excuse- 9/11-was inside job! Usa refuse to tell the truth and to arrest known killers of 3000 innorcent victims done by terrorist act-9/11.YOU ARE NOT DEMOCRACY-FULL STOP!You never punish one you citizen(and you presidents to) for commited war and genicide crimes-NOT ONE EVER! Yet, for a parking ticket you can inprison people....
