Congratulations to all Belarussian Workers from Workers on the other side of the Globe. Not only is this the date of liberation from the Nazi oppression and from a holocaust like no other - where 20 millions had lost their lives defending their land and that of all Soviet citizens from Brest Litovsk to Leningrad to Stalingrad to its borders with Russia proper and beyond. It is significant in this day and age that such heroism was not for naught when it was recently proposed that the home of Lenin's Mausoleum would readily find a home within their Capitol City. Not only are all European peoples remembering their great duty and consequent sacrifice with awe but also those in Asia North and South Africa Australasia the Americas and Oceania - the whole World over. We mark this day - July 3rd. -in memory of all 20 million Belarussians - all Soviet Citizens - that fell determined to liberate their land from the Nazi horror. Without their great sacrifice and determination to win at all costs - without their great act of courage - Russia and other CIS - former Soviet - States may still be under the yoke of Fascism. China would still be perhaps under the yoke of Japanese Imperialism - as maybe would Mongolia and Northern Korea. Tomorrow is another day - they say. Indeed it is another all important day in the lives of Belarussian Workers and all of Workers Worldwide. It is the anniversary of the publication of the document that changed the World forever. Its the day in 1848 that Karl Marx published the Communist Manifesto - July 4th. It demonstrates still the concept that the exploitation of Man by Man is in it's death throes - haunted by the Spectre of the Vanguard of the Proletariat. Was the knowledge of that - the driving force of the Belarussians - that as part of the Great Red Army - liberated their fellow Workers and their families in their homeland. No doubt they would not have dreamt that amongst their offspring would be those that would fight for the restoration of Capitalism "with" [as they say today] "a human face". The one that fascism hides behind. Its heart warming to realise that the great sacrifice of the Liberators of Belarus are remembered and revered today despite such manoeuvrings. "Slava" Comrades all - from all parts of the Globe!! ///snowyone.
