Syria's Ambassador to Russia, Hassan Rishe, was one of around 200 diplomats invited to hear an address by Russia's President on Wednesday – the first such gathering of his presidency. Rishe spoke to RT about the event's atmosphere.
“This was a great event indeed and the atmosphere was excellent. Because it's the first time Mr President is gathering all ambassadors and heads if diplomatic missions. He said it would not accept any interference in the domestic affairs of Russia. And it's a very positive thing,” Rishe said.
