While most of the world is trying to prevent the spread of nuclear weapons, Iran has declared that it is expecting to join the nuclear club in May.
I say join the club, this is a major advancement shown by Iran, in its 30 years of age, been through a davastating 8 years war of aggression from Dictator Saddam Hussain and his foolish allies and supporters [who Saddam had turned on them (Kuwait Invasion)], Iran has shown knowledge on all areas of field, especially scientific and technological, The Islamic State has done this 'Solo' and the west should indeed be worried, Iran will influence the region and will bring a Golden Age to the world, she will set an example to the world and stands up against oppression; she will create a huge revolutionary wave throughout the world that will cleanse all nations from opressing and corrupting leaders. True democracy will then prevail! All nations should advance in nuclear area, not only the superpowers, nuclear is essential and important, it provides eco-friendly energy, medicine, industrial production etc. Truth-be-Told "Sharing is caring"
He just means that the power station will be switched on and that they how they use / store / dispose of the high level waste will be decided by Iran, not the USA. There is no need to talk up this issue and incinuate that a bomb is going to be made, Tel Aviv and Washington do enough of that already.
If Iran gets its nukes, which I do hope it does not achieve- Russia will have to take some of the blame by refusing or using delaying tactics not give Iran the advanced defense weapons it sought from Russia; the U.S and Israel will bear the central responsibility of constantly threatening Iran with nukes and sanctions. sadly, it appears that nukes are the best grantor of security to nations consonantly threatened by the United States and its allies. Despite the failure of Obama to use diplomacy to bring Iran into the fold in the nuke meeting, the Russian President declares Obama nuke summit a success!
O.K. now I'd like to hear what all those who have been going on about Iran's program not being weapons-oriented have to say. And what about all of your accusations that the IAEA was under the influence of 'Zionists' and collaborating with the west in 'fabricating' a case against Iran? So it was all 'lies' was it? Don't you feel rather foolish right now? How about feeling 'used'? Because that's what you've been: used by Iran.
Kihnu, are you a shill for shia theocracy? What keeps Iran primitive is not a lack of technology, but its own brand of Islamic theocracy. You want to know why capitalist democracies like the U.S., South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, India, Germany, have high GDP's, provide the world with technology and advance research? Because they are societies that allow for the marketplace of products, and the marketplace of ideas. Kihnu, you can thank the U.S. for providing you with the invention of the computer, which you use the internet (developed by the U.S.), and I'm sure you watch Youtube (another product of the U.S.). Or Twitter, which many young Iranians use. You can thank U.S. scientist for discovering the DNA strand, which has fast-forward science. But I suppose you advocate keeping women locked up in bee keeper suits, and executing men for simply being gay. I suppose you advocate a theocracy that discriminates against those who are not Shia, whether you be Christian, Jew, Bahai. In capitalist democracies such as South Korea, people freely interact to share DIFFERENT ideas, formulate those ideas, and materialize those ideas. South Korea has given us such great products from LG to Samsung to Hyundai. The Iranian theocracy suffocates individualism, and chokes of new ideas. It is Orwells 1984
Karl, By the way, Kihnu lives in America in which he runs his own business which makes what he has to say even more funny. He left that hole he called a home and came to America to bash it at every chance he gets. It's pretty comical actually.
This is officially becoming ridiculous. If Iran has voiced that it is planning on using nuclear technology for anything other than energy production, especially nuke creation, then why are they being babied so strongly? It seems that the world will be in danger soon, and she's not doing anything to defend herself. Turning Iran into glass is a better alternative then an aggressive nation like Iran developing a nuclear program that they plan to, undoubtedly, use against Israel and probably the rest of the world.

I don't see how anyone can prevent Iran from "becoming nuclear" if she has the kind of talented people and resources necessary to build Iran into an advanced technical nation. I suspect that America/Israel want to keep Iran as primitive as possible so that she can not exert any influence in the area that runs counter to their interests. America/Israel will not just be satisfied with limiting Iran nuclear development. Their next concerns will be Iranian advancements in other areas of scientific and technological.
