Being back-stabbed by Russians groweling to US/israel dictats for litteraly no gains at all, i belive that Iran seriously are looking for a more reliable partner. Russia gained a lot of respect for her decisive and resolute action on the US-proxy puppet in Georgia, a formidable check-mate, only to humiliated herself again. This is beyond words.

Russia should have had enough self respect to vote against the US sponsored UN sanctions as Brazil and Turkey did. Now, Russia is back peddling trying to amend fences with Iran. Russia should understand that America and NATO are not her friends.

Kihnu is correct. Iran is talking and dealing, but US doesn't want any of it. They are playing directly against Iran ever since they were removed from Iran during their revolution which brought Iran back in control of their own nation. They don't have Western International Companies, IMF loans, and other forms of controls dictating them to be Western puppets. If Iran is pursuing Nuclear weapons, it is a direct response to Western foreign policy. India and Pakistan went nuclear and they immidiately were not threatened and America begun working with them. North Korea although threatened hasn't been invaded. Some more hypocracy comes when US doesn't do anything about Israels nuclear weapons. US has military bases completely surrounding Iran. They would be fools not to try and have nuclear weapons, if I was their president, I'd have them. Nuclear war is a low probability because Iran knows that it would be only used defensively as a stakes multiplier. If they were to use them offensively, they know there would be nothing left of Iran. However, this is odd speaking about what if because the two countries that have the biggest problems with Iran are the most aggressive nations in the world fighting endless wars. US has toppled some 50 governments and a lot of them were democracies. Iran in modern history hasn't invaded another country. Russia has just backstabbed this nation. Now it wants to pretend nothing happened and it is business as usual.... This is very sad. Another attempt by Medvedev to please the West and he'll get NOTHING in return.
