These reports produced by biased, politically motivated sources are not worth much. Such documents are worthless. The idea that one can condemn Russia what many European countries are practicing, is absurd. There are certainly more freedoms for Muslims in Russia, then in US. All forms of hate, open or subtle marginalization, are common. One can pick any number of problems in any country. Problems happen, as we are dealing with people, not robots. And people come with all kinds of education or lack thereof, and nobody expects a permanent ideal society. US does not mention Kosovo Christians living behinds barbed wires, in so called "enclaves". It is only there that they have a protection. Often a NATO soldier must accompany priests, with their machine guns on the ready, as they venture outside of their barbed wire "enclaves". These are systemic cases of persecution, not an individual injustice. As the selection of countries that are "not free" is so predictable, it is really not worth talking about it much. It is meant to shove these conclusions down the throats of those societies, with the helping hand of some of their selected mouthpieces. A very predictable, boring exercise.

to believe that the State has authority over one's personal beliefs, goes back to Hitler's days. the major smaller religious groups targeted are Jehovah's Witnesses in particular, calling these non-violent, non-political, exemplary citizens of Russia as dangerous as these insane persons like suicide-bombers & terrorists extremists. ever heard of those JW's involved in any type of warfare or political coop??? i can't find one example! so if they can declare innocent, law-abiding, non-violent Christians as 'extremists' on a whim, then they can find a way to do the same to ALL religions the STATE does not approve! btw, you gotta wonder how the Creator REALLY feels about anybody who feels that they can dictate how they are to worship Him??? God isn't selfish, but full of love & wants justice & peace for all. so He can't be happy if the STATE makes themselves higher than HIS divine will-!!! i'm just sayin'....!

Are these USA campaigners equally keen to attack Saudi Arabia -- or their own liberal-humanist fanatics who impose the cultist doctrine of "political correctness"?

Sure it is deteriorating, when Jehovah's Witnesses who enjoy freedom in all other countries worldwide get attacked by the Russian government you can say they are overreaching their authority and is attempting to stop witnesses from worshiping.. They will NOT succeed! Just as Hitler DID NOT succeed even though he went all out to wipe them out, but nothing worked. Because JW's are more powerful than any government they have Jehovah behind them.. This all the nations will learn but unfortunately they will learn the hard way.
