Israeli strategists’ two-state solution suggestion doesn’t include Palestine

Amidst widespread calls for a two-state solution to the Israel-Palestinian conflict, leading Israeli strategic thinkers are suggesting that one of those two states need not be Palestine.

This article is one of an opinion (and misguided at that), it's hardly official policy. Especially the part that points out Jordanian arousing support towards West Bank territory. That very notion is a cruel joke at best. Ever since the days of Dawson's Field hijackings Palestinians lost and never regained Jordanian support (although, technically Jordan is 2/3 Palestinian and should be called a Palestinian country, but alas for monarchy). Nobody wants Palestinians, not Jordan, not Egypt. Just take a look at their treatment at other refugee camps in countries like Lebanon. The hope that other Muslim/Arab nations will help with the situation are naive. It's in their interest to maintain Palestinian quickly growing "refugee" population in hopes that it will be used to terminate Jewish character of the State of Israel under intended political and ethnic genocide of Palestinian right to return. Two states for two peoples seem to be the only way to peace. That way Palestinians gain independence from being used as pawns in Arab political games, and Israel gains security. Of course, there's that "little matter" of them first recognizing Israel's right to exist and denouncing violence.
