Italians are only foreigners with right to adopt Russian children - official

29.11.2013 08:43

Russia’s ombudsman for children’s rights has admitted that currently only Italy matches the two main criteria for adoption of Russian children – a bilateral agreement with Russia and a ban on same-sex marriage.

Normal people don't give a d..., but those who shake with fear and hate usually do it because they can't handle homosexual truth about themselves. The more you call for hate towards gay people, the more you admit you have the same problem...think of that

"Russian boy’s death in Italy calls for psych tests for foreign adopters - MP"

.. .seems like the Russian government made a deadly mistake to allow Russian children adoptions to foreigners.

Russia, there is no need to sell your children so that a few UNSCRUPULOUS individuals make financial gains.

The consequence is that your children die in the hands of foreigners.

The vast majority of Russian children, adopted by Americans, have loving families who treat them very well. The same cannot be said for the Russian children left in orphanages, because the vast majority of Russian citizens are unwilling or unable to adopt them.

This underaged moroccan immigrant was well aware what she was doing, as this was her job! But this doesn't change the fact that Italian people are good family people with normal values and traditions. I'm sure that Russian children will receive all the love and care as it should be in Italian families.

We should be Always strickt and firm with adoption laws, Russia econmy is growing stronger prosperity and well on the state level is booming, at the same time there is an alarming decrease in birth which soon it will be a very highlighted security and survival matter for the federation, my advise is promote ,incentivise and reward the program among natvive russians, it will cost much less than building a Nuckear submarine plus you will maintain the children dignity and russia pride , who can bring up russian children better than Russians themselves.

MarkBG 01.12.2013 05:11

Great job by Russia. Italy appears to be a better place for families. Russia should never allow Americans or the French to adopt children. The USA has become a dreadful place.

Freesaxon 30.11.2013 16:17

Yet again I applaud Russia's stance.

Whi lst EVERY country has its problems, & OK there ARE still `good' people in the USofA and Europe, overall, `The West' is decadent, immoral, perverted, currupt, and sickingly Liberal.

“Such cases of pedophilia, violence and brutality as we have in America, we have nothing like that anywhere else,”
WOW...t alk about head in the sand! Last I heard, it's a global problem!

Italians are nice people. And their language is also nice.

I know people are passionate about having children. Any time they feel that they're being denied there tends to be rage and denial but see it from Russia's POV. I don't know if it's a cultural thing in America but there does seem to be a more fleeting sense of family especially within adoptions. Something like half of all adoptions 'fall through' (parents abandon/relinquish child after the adoption is finalized) that does not seem to exist in other countries which is why those countries can continue to adopt from Russia. US needs to strengthen post-adoption checkups if they want to continue international adoptions.

sandra 29.11.2013 20:02

The children should be protected everywhere. Russia cares about family values and their children.

slava 29.11.2013 18:33

Poor children's, they have to be in orphanages, were they will get little medial help, education and poor food quietly. I was born in the Russian Federation outside of ST. Petersburg’s and was adopted by an American family and life is good here, I rather be adopted and have an chance to live with an loving family instead of an orphanage. but at lest Italians can adopt Russian children.

Lee Schuler 29.11.2013 15:32

Another requirement could be that the adoptive parents do not belong to some wackadoodle religion that does not recognize the presence of the one true God in their lives.

@Travis - Same here but Add the Failed Adoption Market (or re-homing) which is a very Public Exchange of Living Children for sale in America outside the Child Protective System
