Hah! Lukashenko seems to be the last dictator of Europe, and Belorussia is not a good example of a modern country, but he is also right about russian riches. Just need to think about how those rich oligarches have created their financial position. Cheating state´s money. Maybe even not eiilgally, because that time there were no up to dated laws in Russia about those financial actions or maybe even not about privatizing to own pockets. Basically Russians should not argument against Lukashenko without watching deep into mirror. For me, outsider looks like two strange and me-me-me systems are little bit hitting each other.

President Lukashenko in the west either fear or hate him. I remember him one time comment on peoples perception of reality, that they seemed to lack it. lol Honestly Russian Federation should stick with this guy, he is the only thing that stands between Russia and Poland right now.

Divide and Conquer is the oldest and most used tool of the Anglo Imperialist Alliance. If Lukashenko is pro-Russian support him, if not help Belarus elect pro-Russian President. Obama supports and helps Chechen and Georgian terrorist in a proxy war vs. Russia.

To srbin and shilka.maskirovka: Why can't you guys just choose your topic of competence (if any) and try to comment on at least couple of them with some underpinning knowledge rather than to comment for the sake of 'to be published' indiscriminately? Please refrain yourselves from being anti-Americans, anti-Obama, anti-Lukashenko and pro-Russian- absolutely-everything and we might be closer to understand what is right and what is wrong in this world. Mr Lukashenko commented recently that " regardless who is next pro-Russian candidate will be - Ivanov, Petrov or Sidorov, it is up to Belarusian people to decide in the end". We'll have to wait and see on the Belarusian electorate verdict in the forthcoming Presidential election. There is nothing that stands between Poland and Russia, and to your great dismay, shilka, it can not be Belarus. Belarusian-Polish relations were always special historically and ethnically, and nothing can change that. Poland is coming to terms with her Katyn, Belarus has got hers as well - the Kurapaty forest. The Lukashenko administration is very reluctant to bring this words to the attention of Russia. Does Russia need another Katyn case? Do Belarusians demand to declassify the Kurapaty's files to meddle with anti-Russian sentiments and the Stalin's terror? Mr Medvedev was ill-advised to 'translate' the Belarusian barter (machinery and equipment) into "pies, sausages and pancakes". It was humiliating and insulting, and it has not been received well by the same people who once criticised the Russian government for "supporting" Mr Lukashenko after his re-election in 2006. It is not always about the money and prices between Belarus and Russia. Now it is more about the national interests, divided loyalty and projecting the right image abroad.

O wise one try telling your knowledge to millions and millions and millions and millions slaughtered by those you accuse me of being "anti". I merely talk, mention and repeat FACTS, that doesn't make me anti-anything or anybody, just pro-self-PRESERVATION. Are you aware for example that Russia's "allies" kept delaying opening the second front in order for Russians and Germans to exterminate each other? Have you heard of American Indians, Hiroshima, Boer Wars, Nagasaki etc etc etc etc..... You may find reading history helpful. Mauritanians didn't TERRORIZE my people for example, it was Anglo-American Alliance of Terror to be precise, and that is a FACT.
