The recent statements by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev is in fact a statement of this plan and scenario and we regret that Medvedev became the spokesman for the plan orchestrated by the enemies of Iran. It is regretable that Medvedev still does not the History of Iran, he should know that all people in countries arould Casphin Sea are against russain policy and they will never forget what Russia did to people of these and kill many many of Moslem people in these countries. Historically all these countries were part of Persian Emporer and one day will be returned to its old days and Russia will be more divided into many countries. Mr. Medvedev do not think that your recent relation with Obama-USA and your enamy with Iran will help you in future. You should know that all hard policices you are adopting against Iran now will be all against you and against Russia.

I am very surprised that Russia was so behind in technologies. I remember very well when Putin attended a meeting in Davos, Switzerland, and was offered technologies by Dell Computer and refused by saying that Russians are not handicapped. And I still cannot believe that Medvedev sold Russia for a greasy hamburger and coca-cola with Obama. I wish that Putin comes back and re-establish the Russian pride and be a counterpunch to evil USA. The world is very disappointed with Russia and all hopes are gone. It is obvious that Medvedev betrayed Iran and wishes instead to side with the "snakes" - that is the European Union. Russia has become a beggar.

Italy is a good business partner for Russia. Italy is sort of easy going if you just pay your taxes. Like the UK, you just need to understand the Italian lifestyle and thinking. Italians are very creative!

Probably not. If by invading, you mean retaliating for Georgia blowing Russian peacekeepers to hell, then sure, why not. In case you forgot, even mainstream English media, such as BBC, came out with "exclusive revelations" in which it was discovered that Russia had not in fact fired the first shot, but responded to Georgian aggression. Fancy that one.

Fred.
Snap out of it.
The US and EU are not going to go away any time soon, so Russia needs to have a relationship with them.
Of course the US and EU will try to use Russia... that will happen no matter what Russia does.
Don't you think it makes sense for Russia to try to use them back?
Medvedev has gone to lots of countries asking for help to improve Russia.
If he really was an ass clown as you suggest he would not bother talking to Italy or South Korea or France or the many other countries he has talked to about improving things in Russia.
He would simply fall at the feet of the all powerful US and do what ever they suggest... that would make him an ass clown.
Instead he is going around to different countries that are not russophobic and hate Russia and he is offering ties, both economic and political.
He wants to get investment into Russia and is offering trade and cooperation in return. Talk to Italy and Greece and South Korea and Germany and France? Yes. Mutual benefits and positive relations are good for all countries involved.
It was the US that coined the phrase old and new europe that created a first crack of division, but it will not benefit Russia to talk to the whole EU because it contains too many hostile components. The EU includes the Baltic states who enjoy sabotage against Russia. Instead if you look at Europe as lots of separate countries then talking directly to Italy and Slovakia and the Czech republic and Poland and Greece and France and Germany about things of mutual interest. It makes perfect sense.
Of course they shouldn't ignore Asia or Africa or central and south America either.
And to Sierra Nevada Russian drunk conscripts created two new countries in 2008 after fighting off a cowardly attack by a NATO force. It was clearly a NATO force... look at the flags behind the Glorious Leaders desk. Hahaha.
