We Americans sincerely believe Russian are our friends. Our evil massmurderer gov't is such a digrace that we now have to live in shame. Looking at what I believe to represent an average American soldier and comparing/contrastin g that individual to a Russian:  If an American soldier received orders a fight with Russia was on the docket, the average American soldier would be shaking in those combat boots - in flat out FEAR!  -- applies to what I believe represents the Average American Soldier - not all - but most.

American here.  75% of America is tired of our 'out of control' government playing "police man" everywhere in the world.  We do NOT want war.  And even though we are capitalists, we do NOT think it is our duty to push our corrupt version of capitalism onto other countries.  But, our media is now an organ of our state now...  and our leader (despite being an avowed Marxist) does nothing but read what is put in front of him on his teleprompters by those in control, and our state is becoming tyrannical.  We have a big enough mess in our own America and we should be reaching out to work with others, not reaching out to tell others what to do.  This is NOT the American way.    

@NotAmerican & @StopSmokingIT  --  One thing to keep in mind is that anything posted on here that is negative about either Russia, Putin or Medvedev will get a very high minus rating on your vote number.

So the idea is to ignore the minus sign, and evaluate the effectiveness of your post by the absolute value of the number.  In other words, the worst number is a - 0 - (Zero) as that means your post was ignored by everyone, but if you can get something like a (-100) or greater, than you know that you really hit a nerve with these communist a-holes, and they are trying to shut you down; so your goal should be to try and get the highest number possible, irregardless of what sign it is (whether + or -).   

NotAmerican Sure Russia is a mess but the Russians are not spreading their social mess and economic mismanagement to other parties of the world. The U.S is not only mess in terms of corruption but the country is run by aggressive people who can risk global security. Today Russia announced it might abandoned the AMB treaty with the U.S if the U.S does not change its views of its planed Missile Shields in Europe. The Americans did not expect this firm response from Russia but like it was in their planned instigation of the 2008 Georgia’s war against South Ossetia, the Americans will be forced to retread from its current aggressive push of the planned Missiles and radars to the borders of Russia. The American key members of the elite running the U.S economy, politics and the military are showing their greed and corruption at home but now they represent the greatest threat to global security.

No, I don't want Ron Paul for president of the USA. I want that Igor Panarin's vision to become true. I want a Separated States of America with no more Federal Reserve and no more Federal Government !!!!  Whil e I applaud your enthusiasm, please temper it with reality.  There will NEVER be "no more Federal Government!!!"  We (here in the USA) can wail and moan all day long about how corrupt and evil our government is (and they are), but the reality is that this government is so entrenched that it will never let go. I saw a show on Animal Planet or something. It was about a lizard that, once it had hooked onto its prey, it would not release no matter what.  Nothing, and I mean nothing, could dislodge those jaws once clamped.  That is the state of our government today. As to not having a federal govt. at all...please.  That's like saying lets go swimming, but we don't need water. While I agree this (USA) governement is corrupt and beyond repair, this is what we have and to think ANY contry can exist without a government is just plain silly.  Even those 60's communes had 'elders' or a council or something to that effect.  Call it what you will, but governance itself is intrinsic to man living together.  If you don't want government, then head off to the Yukon, or the Outback, or deep Africa. Where there is man, there is governance.

I find it hilarious that so many people sit here and pretend that the US is that bad. Face it...Russia is a mess...they have their own history of war mongering...and then they decide to become bed fellows with some of the worst filth in the World...yeah..that won't come back to haunt you...Supporting Syria while their leaders massacre thousands...hold hands with Iran while they sit there and try to figure out how to wipe every nonmuslim off the face of the earth...When it comes right down to it...the people have more in common with the Russians then everyone would pretend...and when the sht hits the fan...which it will someday...the Russians and the Americans will be fighting side by side to save the race...period.

What on earth are you on?! The reality is that NO ONE cared for Jews during WWII! The allies used concentration camps at the end as they liberated them for propaganda purposes. The Allies were happy to let Jews be slaughtered by the Nazis as long as Hitler stopped his expansionism.

I challenge anyone to hunt out any headline column or article from any major publication from an allied country before 1944 that makes the claim that the men are going to fight for, or to free the Jews!
