NATO’s secretary general has called for the integration of Russia’s and the alliance’s anti-missile defense systems. Russian analysts consider this proposal interesting, but believe it will be very hard to fulfill.

There is no integrating of Russia with anything NATO or US. There is a possibility of the US joining a world system kicked off by Russia, China, India .... via extension of the SCO but that's it; of course we can talk and align. We can have coexistence and cooperation, but we are mulitpolar, and interested in workable global security architectures, not interest groups of extremists with a singular control orientation. The US will have to choose what it wants to do, given its financail plight, and the changing of the world order. The door is open for genuine constructive equitable involvement of all nations in the worlds security needs.
