First they wanted a few days, then weeks, then months, and now 90 days. Well we give NATO 900 yrs and guaranteed it will all b messed up. Remind me how long NATO has been in Afghan? and Iraq? if NATO is a superior intelligent force it could only take days to oust Gadafi with help of rebels and the sheikhs(qatari, emira te hypocrites). But Gadafi is smarter than NATO and the ppl of Libya are stronger than 90 NATOs put together. Russia shouldnt fear NATO now. If Gadafi can do it alone why cant Russia+China+N.Korea destroy NATO and the West. This is what 78% of the world are eagerly waiting 4. We want to live in peace and equilibrium, not to b ruled by mad NATOs. NATO has destroyed 90%of Gadafis power so now let them leave it to the rebels to do their part coz now the rebels r stronger than Gadafis power. Or NATO now needs only 9 days to finish Gadafi who is defenceless at the moment. Why does NATO still need 90 days? That shows that NATO is a bunch of unintelligent hooligans and thugs. If u have destroyed 90% do u still need 90 days? And why cant the rebels finish now. Answer is Gadafi and 99% of his true Libyan ppl cannot b defeated even with 900 yrs of NATO bombardments, not even with 900 NATO 900 yrs bombings. Pack up leave Libya alone.u r a failure.

Zeitburg I do not think this is case of air strikes are killing people as truism. I think this is a matter whose blood that has been shed. All 28 nations in Europe are not doing the bombing of Libya and to the best of my knowledge Poland and Germany, the only two countries in the 28 EU who suffered the greatest losses of lives in WWII are not part of the bombing campaigns against Libya. Today, we see aggressive emporium thinking that brought the catastrophe of WWII. Russia today, has one serious problem and that is a weak leadership at the top. But this bloodshed must end.

The greatest tragedy of NATO's attack on Libya is that it is the terrorists from NATO alltogether with the Al Qaeda  and rebels , they do not need Citizens of Lybia.
It  is indifferent  for NATO  how many people killed in Libya. NATO can destroy everything, except oil and gas fields. The whole world is looking at this and hold his mouth.

Probably all of them.

Russia should withdraw from any and all diplomatic communications and agreements with any nation involved in this issue. I know itwould look bad, but it is the right and moral thing to do.

Let the West wallow on the rotting corpses of the Libyans that they have killed trying to loot their bank accounts and oil fields.

Russi a should not lower herself in any dealings or communications with western countries on this isssue. Zero tolerance.

"We are determined to continue our operation to protect the people of Libya."

More hypocrisy from NATO. Rather than saving face, it further reinforces how truly despicable and untrustworthy the organization is. Indeed, just how many more will die?

If?, NATO wants to save face! perhaps?, the 28 member union ought to refrain! from acting as 'errand-boys' for the new world economic order.

Of course civilians are going to die! What, people actually believed that air strikes can be carried out without there being civlian casualties? That a civil war can be waged without people from both sides dying, even the one that intends good? Please. Such naivety has no place in modern conflict.
A nd this conflict dragging on? Hardly. Why just a few days ago, 8 high-ranking officers (including several generals) and 120 military officials defected from Gaddafi. They themselves said that his army is down to 20% of it's original force, and is decreasing daily. Gaddafi's days are numbered.

Bloody Hypocrites! All small nations in the world must take stock, your only defence against these Hypocrites is to be UNITED and armed yourselves APPROPRIATELY. Dont expect help from anyone. Get rid of your TRAITORS.
