Preparations are being made to allow people in remote areas of Russia to vote early in parliamentary elections. The nomads living on the vast northern territories will cast their ballots well before 2 December, official polling day.
Portable voting booths are being flown in to the region by helicopter. Election officials say every eligible voter get the chance to cast a ballot.
Organising the vote in the North is expensive but there is no other option for the 8,000 nomads living there.
The boxes will be opened when the official vote count begins.
