President Medvedev has established the new, North Caucasian Federal District and appointed Aleksandr Khloponin the Presidential Representative to the new district and the vice premier.

A good positive move, economics is a key element in the whole process of advancement in raising living standards in these areas. It is so good to see a business person at the healm, our goal is stability, security and prosperity. A business approach, delivering real prosperity in these areas is a necessary step, containing a balanced vision in the fight against western backed terrorism. Individuals and families that have prosperity and rising living standards, will then be set free from the western paycheck that pulls in so many of these vunerable individuals. It is a good step forward, let's make sure he has the support and resources to do a good job.

In radical situations it's ok to sometimes be radically positive. As a former banker and business manager really the sky is the limit for this man, as long as it's in a positive unifying direction. this new region could be an example, a litmus of positiveness, and progression, probably not quickly but.
