Many countries, not only Iran and North Korea, would want the nuclear technology, so a global legal regime is needed to allow them use it for scientific purposes, says Fred Weir from Christian Science Monitor.
I think the nuclear power stuff is just a cover up for nuclear weapons !!!
Then James we need the inspectors straight into Canada, because it must be making nuclear bombs, the nuclear power stuff must just be a cover up :-) Do they need sanctions, maybe they are building a bomb :-) Sure they CANDU :-) LoL

Let's be honest about all this, the nuclear players now, want total control of the nuclear fuel in the future. They saw what the effect of oil was in terms of politics and power. Now they want to politically manoever for control of the nuclear fuel supply, having learn't the lessons. They want the control and power, it is as simple as that. Yes a global system is needed, but a truly global one, which means there is no mechanism for monopoly by the players now. Amazingly, the current players don't want that, what they want is a 'global system' with them in control. The usual story!
