“Nuke-free world is Russia’s long-term strategy” – Expert

Russia's new National Security Strategy is a “message to Barack Obama,” said Sergey Utkin, a political analyst from the Moscow Institute of World Economy and International Relations, to RT.
I wrote an article for this topic, but you didn't publish it. I am wondering if I am censored. My concern here is that I do not believe that Russia has to fear NATO or the US, and that Russia no longer has to be feared by NATO or the US. I believe that all concerned should find a way to get along and stop sabre rattling like they have in days gone by. I can see by "johnx"s post here that he fears NATO and calls them barbarians. It is this kind of nonsence that makes reconciliation very difficult to achieve. The same goes for the US. Their fear mongering about Russia is very stupid and serves no purpose to resolve any issues let alone nuclear. johnx is right about one thing, and that is that barbaric thinking from the cold war is something that the US and Russia suffer from and they both need to find a way to apologise to eachother and become allies. Divisiveness will eventually lead to another cold war, and the world does not need another one. I hope my views are not censured on this blog, as I do not think that they are threatening in any way. I actually am very supportive of Russian policy and was hoping that Medvedev could find a way to engage with Obama and make Russia the leader in "Global Reform" as it applies to the military and nuclear issues. Honestly; this is a great idea. In previous comments I suggested that Russia and the USA become 50-50 partners; not to push peoples around but to try to show the best possible examples. You had asked: who should lead the World after the financial crisis... Unfortunatly to succeed we must transplant a brain in all those humans who have a cash-register in the head. Moreover those are, in most cases the decisions'makers or puppets of the latests... A complete denuclearisation will require a total change of priorities for many. In Russia, with its centralized system it could be done but how to explain such a need to american businessmen who have earned so much money in the nuclear industry and ignore what the word reconversion mean and don't want to hear about it: a lot of convincing will have to be done. Let us think positive and say: It is possible ! Sincerely. Jean-Claude Meslin
Russian wants a Nuke-free world? Ha ha ha that sound more funny that on April's Fools Day. Only a Fool drunk with Vodka will dream of the day when Russia stops pointing their 11 Nuclear ICBMs toward Australia's USA Bases.

Is Russia insane nuclear weapons is the only real deterrent Russia has against the largest military empire the world has ever seen plus the fact they are fighting a Islamic terror force encompassing Central Asia and Russia's Southern Caucus since the break up of the USSR. The barbarians are definitely inside the gate.
