The Washington press has really given President Barack Obama an easy go since he arrived in town, argues Politico reporter Josh Gerstein, who has talked to political operatives and former administration officials.

“Some of the coverage that he gets is much softer than the approach taken toward President Bush during the time that he was in office,” Gerstein told RT.

“Bush would have been excoriated for some things Obama got away with,” Gerstein said. The Politico reporter noted Obama’s late visit to New Orleans, the site of Hurricane Katrina, where he arguably did not quite accurately describe the tragedy that happened there. and then subsequently flew to the west coast to raise money for the Democratic National Committee.

“It’s not that it is not covered up… it does not take off as a story,” Gerstein pointed out.

“Stories that he [Obama] is in the pocket of big business, even if he has secret meetings or his aides have secret meetings with big business officials – they just don’t get that kind of play they would or did under the Bush administration,” he added.

I wonder how David can write " Obama is a do little President" I think he needs Bush 's style of disorganising the World then he will understand that the man who has hardly clocked a year in the office has already reorganised the world by restarting relationship with the great Russia. and others .Obama is a good man , peace loving . The media just gets mesimerised by the style of the man and hence forgets to write. Remember that speech at Westpoint. It was good . He answered his critics well. I do not think Bush could manage to make a speech like that. The man is Educated from Havard University remember. We are yet to see more of him. I know on the way he find funny people who want him to fail . Look he wants to pass the first Health Bill. The guy will make history. The world loves him and iam sure very many leaders love him too. I wish he could lead America for 15 years or become a prime minister like Putin in Russia to over see his policies. I hate to see another Rep' to govern America because he will dis organise the World . They can do that better. Meanwhile Media stay away from our Man .

It was the American news media that bestowed a halo and angel wings upon their man, Obama. Now children in America's schools are singing Obama praises. No man has been worshiped like this since Martin Luther King. America does not generally worship it's elected government. This is totally new territory and no one knows what the final consequences for our country will be or what it will mean for the rest of the world if this man worship gets out of hand.
