More world leaders than ever before have shown up in the Swiss resort of Davos for the World Economic Forum. At the same time, a number of corporate bosses have decided to drop out of the discussion.
Some 2,500 guests from 96 countries are gathering at the World Economic Forum in Davos. It has already been called one of the most significant Davos forums in the event's 40 year history.

“Shaping the Post-Crisis World” is their title, and Vladimir Putin will be addressing the world community at the Davos economic forum, presenting his expert opinion alongside his Chinese counterpart.
