One day till the deadline: six entered in presidential race

Sunday is the deadline for Russia's presidential candidates to submit the necessary registration documents. So far six candidates have voiced their intention to run in the March election.
The candidates are Dmitry Medvedev, nominated by the United Russia party, Gennady Zyuganov for the Communists, Vladimir Zhirinovsky of the Liberal Democratic Party and Boris Nemtsov for the Union of Right Forces, or SPS.
There are two self-nominees, former Russian Prime minister Mikhail Kasyanov and Democratic Party leader Andrei Bogdanov.
The candidates will be announced officially if and when they're approved by the Central Election Commission.
