Pakistan could become #1 nuclear threat
Published: 06 June, 2009, 10:10
Despite the army's determination to wipe out the Taliban from the Swat Valley, there are fears the militants could seize Pakistan's nuclear weapons.
It's definitely a race to see who will use nuclear weapons first - 1. North Korea who's leader is a madman dictator. 2. Pakistan who wants to wipe India off the map. 3. Iran who wants to destroy Israel. Personally I think that change is happening in Iran. Hopefully for the better...
Well written article. To the point, and hits home on many fronts in this fragile world. What concerns me, is not only radicals obtaining nuclear capabilities (even dirty bombs) - our earth and its environment is permanently altered and poisoned after each nuclear test. Nuclear waste disposal is another issue within itself.
Why is the West working so hard to prevent Iran from developing Nuclear Arms, when it allowed India and Pakistan to do so ? Radical Islam and anti Israel sentiment is very much alive and kicking, in all three of these countries. Our Enemy is not only the Taliban, it is also the abject poverty, the appalling violation of human rights, and the evil Spectre of Injustice that haunt the People of these countries every day. Radical Islam will continue to grow because of these things and the fallen among the Taliban will continue to be replaced, the recruiting ground is very wide. I fear it is only a matter of time before the unthinkable happens and I fear also for the young of today who will have to live with the consequensces of this sickness and this folly.

Pakistan & Taliban both are headache for whole world but this time all are helpless.
