Vladimir Putin

Ten years ago a relatively unknown Vladimir Putin stepped onto the world stage for the first time. Now he is Russia's most recognized politician, a tough leader who brought Russia back from the brink.

Political Putin is a sort of intimated encounter with Russia: you either stick to him or get repulsive, but you never walk through. He saves you from falling. However this is only the front side. The backside is his homogenous loneliness, no family around him, expressing live identification with Russian political and spiritual raw capital. Ego transfigured into service, no time, no interest for self. In the end after the whole century of gloomy faces of frozen Russia, Putin retrieves the image of Russian soul implying that – love is a serious thing. Admirers have no chance – in spite of evident “public availability” of this true charisma.

IMHO, Mr. Putin is the greatest statesman in the 21st century, who has greatly changed the world as well as his homeland, Russian Federation. BTW, Rikard Baric, what do you mean by " no family around him "? Will you please explain it somehow?

The best polititian, statesman, and overall the best thing that has happenned to Russian and world in a long time. I hope Putin sticks around for a long time. It is truly in Russia's best interest to keep him in power. I also believe this is good for the sake of all humanity to balance the world and put the breaks on western ambitions. The west tried to tear us apart after the collapse of the Soviet Union, but thanks in part to Putin held ourselves together and emerged even stronger. Now we can once again hold our head up high. There is still much work to be done and frankly I don't see a better person to get it done.

I am an American. Putin makes Obama look like a baby. During this chaos in America, it would be wise for Putin to move Russia forward and establish it as the world leader. Obama is a talking head. America will not and cannot oppose anything Russia decides to do. Now is the time for Russia to enter a new Renaissance.

I couldn't even imagine that foreign media has made such a good picture of Putin abroad. You guys seem impressed by his actions and all. But here in Russia those folks who could think outside the box they don't really like him. Standard of living here is very low, too many people are poor, corruption cmpletely eroded the Government etc.. ..Either it anti-Russia propoganda or pro-Putin one, there's no truth in the government-supported media whatsoever.
