No one is against muslim religion but when they do their rituals they must not disturb non-muslims. That's what Europe is against but not their religion.

All the right wing parties are currently picking on Muslims for only one reason,they are a safe target.If they pick on their traditional targets i.e Jews and others of darker skin coloured peoples,they know it will cause an uproar and be accused of racism. Since 9/11 many have problems differentiating extremism from simple religious beliefs. Just because there are some Muslim countries in particular Saudi Arabia that suppresses other religions,does not mean we have to stoop to their level. The conflict in Northern Ireland was a protestant versus catholic affair with terrorist activities and bombings. No one ever suggested suppressing the catholic church in the UK. Well not since the 16Th century.

EU is trying to make it's citizens a huge mass of people with no identity at all - no nationality, no religion, no culture, no real values and with controlled opinion - something like USA. The problem about moslems is that they are considered foreign, even though they are born in the EU and they will never be accepted as Europeans, although politically correct media are constantly telling us otherwise. Europe in general has a problem of low natality rate, which is a consequence of lost values. Moslems follow their own traditions and they are the only ones having many children. Ethnic map of Europe is changing dramatically. On the one hand, EU needs workers to fill the pension funds and on the other hand, they don't want these people to have personality. They actually need robots, not people. Wilders is telling us that homosexuals are ok, and that islam is not. What a hypocrite. It's not moslems who are the problem, it is the moral values that they have lost long time ago and they will hardly get them back. Europe should see the Russian example. They made people stick to their own traditional values and it started having an effect - Russia has positive natality rate.

First of all, America is NOT non-religious country. Christianity and Jew has very strong effect on the political culture. The culture is religious and especially republicans vote based on religious beliefs. Abraham Lincoln was a jewish and they have his statue in the main point of political life. There are only couple of millions jewish peoples but you can see one in one of any 5 movies or tv shows, as a good someone always, ALWAYS. they are all about politics and religion. In Norway for example, there has to be 40% of deputies have to be registered to some Church.I dont criticize it, but dont tell the western part of the world and politics are free from religion. And about that Dutch guy, is extremely racist, he has been using this religion issue -in this case Islam- to get votes, and he became popular between "hidden Nazis", like himself. He has been racist via saying Islam is racist. He cant see the people, he focuses on "things" to market himself which creates more discrimination between peoples, divides societies. I'm appalled by RT's level of analysis. First of all, Wilders is not calling for the Koran to be banned. He is calling for Dutch law to be applied without favour. Dutch law says that _any_ work that promotes hatred is banned. The Koran promotes hatred against jews, christians, atheists, buddhists, hindus, homosexuals, and even women. In the Netherlands "Mein Kampf" is banned under that law. Wilders wants to see the law applied to the Koran. Secondly, there was a counter-demonstration of 300 people supporting Wilders visit to the UK. The UAF demonstration against Wilders (highlited in your video) consisted of far fewer people. The vast majority of those arrested were the UAF supporters. The people who are against free speech were also determined to use violence. That is why it is the UAF who are the true fascists.

Joe, Please read the Quran objectively. You will then find that it certainly does not promote, or even condone, hate towards any religions. It even specifically instructs followers of Islam to leave the followers of other religions alone (as long as they leave you alone) and not to waste time and energy arguing with them. As for following laws the Quran reminds the follower that there is a higher authority that must one day be answered to, regardless of what the laws of men say. I have noticed from the tone of other postings that there does appear to be a willingness amonst some people to view the Quran subjectively and to interpret the writings in a very negative way. Education is the key to understanding, and thus to peace.
