I agree...Decision to recognise Abkhazia and S.Ossetia as independent states was a correct one! Law in SSSR at that time give both right to choose on referendum, will they stay with Georgia or to become a independent states!Georgia is also signatory of this LAW ! Just becouse Georgia didn't give them their lawful right to have referendum war started in 1991 or 1992(I think)...Unlike Kosova ,where all international laws are baypass and with force from West "democraties" was stolen from Serbia, both Abkhazia and S.Ossetia did have a law in their hands to choose their future! Shakashvili( a new nazi "leader' ) supported by Western "democratic" regimes started war at 3 am (like Barbarosa) on Thiskhvali killing kids, mothers in their beds and Russian peacekepers to...I will say that Georgia and West can forget that this two new states will ever again be a part of Georgia and there is not power to change that-not now,not in the future ! I watch video from capitol of Abkhazia(I think) at that time, when mr Medvedev recognise them and one man said: We don't need recognition from anyone anymore-we are independent states just becouse Russia said so...we are here to stay and we are SAFE! How right he is-you are safe for sure! Main thing is to rebuild your lifes after horror wars wich was imposed on you by Shakashvili...Also, never forget how it was when it was! Georgia forget that lesson..they been saved from slavery by Russian blood to but memory didn't serve them right so in the end they kill(Russian peacekeepers) the very same people whom they should be grateful forever! Russia did a right thing....Thank you.
