The Western alliance may see Moscow as a partner in a missile defense program, but analysts warn that joining any European or transatlantic security systems may threaten Russia in the future.

It is about time NATO stood up and did it's job. For too long the U.S. has been called on to finance and man the defense of Europe. It is time that the U.S. divest itself of any military presence in Europe and allow Europe to take care of itself.
