The global nuclear security summit in Washington was more a symbolic event than a practical one, and the US was more interested in securing support in the Iranian issue, analysts believe.

It seems President Obama didn't receive the Nobel Peace Prize last year for nothing: He managed in reducing nuclear armament by signing a deal with Russia. That's nice! I am thinking something: US could make a good busyness with this disarmament process and to earn some money from it. For example, they could sell their excess plutonium to Iran and get some money that way. The money could be used then to cure US economy.
