Moscow supports the territorial integrity of Moldova, but wants a special status for the breakaway Transdniester Republic.
Russia started that war, then sent KGB(FSB, MGB) officers to rule that colony, Russia occupies one third of the Moldova's territory, they just know how to hide trails.
