Vinogradov person sounds like someone from Mars. Clearly, he believes that his narrative can be passed off as analysis. The narrative is so carefully scripted, but is no piece of sophistry. Not clever enough for that. The recognitions are hardly needed. Why bother to poke the issue. Clearly , Europeans are all tied into knots over it, but not because it would cost them one nights sleep if all the world recognized the two. They just need not upset THAT OTHER ONE. So, spare the nervous Nillies, do not recognize, and work on real, productive things. The rest of it will fall in place.
