Russia and Germany both believe the upcoming G20 summit in London must result in more than just adopting a declaration, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said after meeting in Berlin with German chancellor Angela Merkel.

I think Russia and Germany are in quite different economical situations and Russia should do as much as it can against potentially rising poverty, so I would not simply transfer some German political credo to Russia, but instead concentrate to support Russian local economy with own ideas. I never was very convinced by strict "monetarism".
