Finally at long last after 10 most turbulent years Russia and Belarus amend ties once and for all those that have drawn a wedge between these two countries have failed. Russia and Belarus need each other I mean after all they are brothers they share the same Currency trade and also pretty much speak the same language I hope this "Union State" will prosper and succeed beyond their wildest imaginations. Integration too wow so now the Russo-Belarus airspace has just got bigger. Also next year with the possibility on Kazakhstan joining the "Union State". It's like old allies coming together for a reunion. Let 2010 be the year of the great "Union State".

Impera, Very rosy and cheerful picture you paint of a Belarus and Russia Union-State! Russia is growing politically, socially and financially. They have a unique form of democracy. Belarus is being repressed by the " last dictator in Europe". Can you support a Belarus-Russia union under a mad-man like Alexander Lukashenko? He has challenged Russia many times, and can not even pay his nation's Gazprom bill. As I said on another story blog, Belarus, under Lukashenko, is a liability for Russia. As president of such a union-state, he would be disastrous!!!
