Kate do you really believe all Islam are terrorist . Well they are not, terrorist are terrorist . They come in all religions . The US like Russia never condones terrorist . Beside the terrorist on the ground isn't the ones you have to worry about . It is the terrorist on the internet . Every country uses the internet for just about everything .

Donna Marie 08.01.2014 18:29

What good is the death penalty on people that are willing to kill themselves .

Francisco Gonzalez 08.01.2014 11:23

Terrorism is always backed by foreign military underground forces, so it is pointless to pretend you can fight it the same way you fight burglars or inner mafia.

oh you ignorant....

Do you really believe a band of a couple of hundred people would separate from little state as Georgia without any foreign uproar? Georgia would be the next step to encircle Russian borders with US "defence" missiles. Putin handled it the best possible way. Send the tanks, clear out, end of story. He acted before anyone could even get a full story on it.
P.S. Al quaida was created BY the US, FOR the US, against Russia, at the height of the Afghan occupation by soviets in the 80s...

Thank you Wizard, or should I say "Vladimir Zhironovsky".

Russia shouldn't be surprised why these attacks keep happening. Russia has been destroying nations and changing nations history such as Afghanistan, East-European nations during communism and the latest was capturing of Georgian land by force. The fact is that Dagestan and Chechnya are not even Russian names! Early 2006 Russia was swapping Georgian birth certificates for Russian ones to lay a claim on Abkhazia and Asetia. Gerogian government got scared and send its troops to protect its land, Russia declared war and invaded those two pieces of land. Russia destroyed Afghanistan which resulted in cration of Al-Qaeda!

The West has gone soft and Islam is milking it. If we hit them back hard they'd soon go back under their stone

Ernest Allen 05.01.2014 16:39

Russian counter-terrorism activity still be to conducted within the "Constitutional framework"? Let's see. Extrajudicial killings - check. Disappearances - check. Torture - check. Intimidation - check. Arrest relatives of suspected insurgents - check. Mass detentions of "foreign-lookin g" people - check. No due process - check. Indiscriminate and non-proporitional use of force - check. Murder journalists not towing the Kremlin line - check. Continued marginalization of ethnic minorities - check. Looks Russia's CT program is in order.

Just a thought. Wonder if the NSA and GCHQ had any leads to this happening before hand.

kate moderate 04.01.2014 12:34

Islam is not a religion, it's a political movement that hides behind plagarized religion. Russia, you must fight these monsters, because they are out to take over and destroy the entire world. We in America are helpless against the wussies of victimhood who excuse and enable terrorism

shawn 04.01.2014 11:12

Puttin should declare that their 'intelligence' has information that the terrorist are hiding in Isreal and USA and send some drones over their skies....when they can do it we should do it...
