The core problem is not a matter of materialism, but rather, ideology/religion, as has been proven by the sheer numbers of well educated, privileged-class and 'religiously devout' people who have committed 99% of the terrorist acts around the world. Govts of the world need to unite in fighting and destroying the known, but unspoken, 'source' of this terrorizing evil.
