Nino Burdzhadze is an inteligent woman! I really hope that if she does come to power she will serve people of Georgia and not the western pupet masters as does the curent presiden Mikheil Saakashvili!!!

If I am not mistaken, this very Nino Burdzhadze found only very hush words about Russia when interviewed by a German radio programme about a year ago. Has she changed her mind in the meantime or do her statements depend on the recipient?

This is another good and positive move by one of Saakashvili's most biggest opponents in Georgia also to have been the second to have visited Moscow, I do believe that Russia-Georgia relation's will immediately be fully "Restored" to it's former glory the way it used to be before Saakashvili, this could also be and end to yet another revolutionary adversary toward Russia the famous "Rose Revolution" like the ill fated "Orange Revolution" in Ukraine. So it appears that history is beginning to repeat itself once more "Orange Revolution" Ill fated and never practised what they preached. "Rose Revolution" was seemed a good Idea at the time but now has just about run it's course and has become corrupted in the latter by Saakashvili and his bullies and thug's in Georgia. So as for "Before-Crisis" relation's for both Russia and Georgia with Nino Burdzhadze and Vladimir Putin this could become perhaps a turning point for Russo-Georgian relation to bury the hatchet once and for all to progress a neighbour's in the Caucasus region. Finally I hope this would mean that in the future all region's such as Russia,Georgia,Abkhazia, and South Ossetia could finally live side by side and shoulder to shoulder with one another.

hahahaha you guys are jokers, I can assure you that no one in Georgia takes "opposition" as a serious concurrent of Geogian government because Georgian people are clever enough to realize that there should be no conversation with occupants who invaded your country. Nino is another Georgian betrayer such as Orjonikidze and Zurab Nogaideli who recently visited Vladimir Putin

@Fremder I am sure you heard her correctly. She may very well have harsh opinions about Russia. It is politics. However, you see where she is sitting? She doesn't have to like Russia, but willing to work constructively instead of playing tit for tat games and being a real political nightmare such as Saashkashvili. The politics in Georgia are a bit rough, but the people are just like all people in the world and just want to live in peace. I think she is trying to appeal to those who desire such.

The true borders on a nation are those defined by culture and language mostly. The true nation is in the heart of people. In an ideal world armies are not needed because all needs of people are satisfied. In an ideal world police are not needed because nobody need to steal. When you realise that hate gives birth to more hate, then you have begun a path towards an ideal world. Lets all work together towards this new world!
