Russian internet laws could make ISPs liable for user’s crimes

New amendment that would make internet service providers disclose the identity of users who commit crimes online. If providers refuse they will become suspects in criminal cases instead of the users.

If the crime can be directly traced to that IP with out any doubt then 'yes', without that 'no'.

This is a step too far, It is time for Russian citizens to kick out of the Duma all the prosstitute politicians following in the path of the NSA and protect Russians privacy and anonymity when making political content. Don't preach about the NSA and then use exactly the same tactics yourself!
