Opposition: time for Saakashvili decision

Opposition parties in Georgia are planning mass rallies for April 9 in Tbilisi. The demonstrators are expected to express their contempt for President Mikhail Saakashvili, and demand his resignation.

Police in Georgia have detained opposition members who gathered near a restaurant in Tbilisi where President Mikhail Saakashvili was having dinner. Their mobile phones were thrown into the river.
