I am born to a Christian family, even though I have no affiliation with any religion. I have studied the Koran as well as the Bible. Islam teaches tolerance toward others, just as Christianity is based on love. What I don't understand is how can a religion based on love of God and fellow human beings show intolerance toward Islam. If we all profess to be God's children, then there should be no discrimination in our societies against those who believe fundamentally in the same values. We all live in a global village and we better get used to living together and isolate those who preach intolerance for political reasons. Let us learn to live with each other in peace no matter what the environment is. Do not fall victim to the propaganda of chauvinists whose sole mission is to sow discord among people in country after country. Islamophobia is unchristian and inhuman. The only thing we need to hate is hate itself.
